Mount Eden Village Centre, 449 Mount Eden Road

At Age Concern Auckland , we are committed to promoting wellbeing, rights, respect and dignity for older people.  Our vision is that older people thrive in an inclusive society for all ages.

Getting older is something we should all celebrate, but it can be tough.  With an increasing number of major life changes – a move into retirement, health challenges and the loss of loved ones – it is crucial that we have the support we need within our reach.

Age Concern Auckland is a Charitable Organisation dedicated solely to the over 65s and is one of the most significant providers of services across Auckland that connects, supports, empowers, celebrates and respects the older people in our community.

Each year we receive tens of thousands of requests for help ranging from those simply seeking advice and guidance to providing dedicated support to some of the most vulnerable older members living in our communities.

Our work is divided into four key areas:

  • Intervention Services

  • Ageing Well Services

  • Social Connection Services

  • A dedicated Asian service

We also work to inform local bodies and organisations on issues of concern for older people, ensuring older people are heard and represented in their communities.

We provide services across Auckland from Tuakau in the South up to Okura in the North.
